Welcome to Washington Little League District 6

About D6

Washington District 6 Little League is a non-profit organization whose mission is to promote, develop, supervise, and voluntarily assist in all lawful ways, the interest of those who will participate in the Little League program. This is done through proper guidance and exemplary leadership. The Little League program assists children in developing the qualities of citizenship, discipline, teamwork and physical well-being. By promoting the virtues of character, courage, and loyalty, the Little League Baseball and Softball programs are designed to develop superior citizens rather than superior athletes.

New to her role this year, she brings a fresh perspective and a "get it done" attitude that inspires those around her. As a dedicated stay-at-home mom of two, she selflessly devotes countless hours to volunteering and coaching softball, always found on the diamond, mentoring and guiding young athletes. Ron Started being involved in Little League in 1997, began by coaching in the coach/kid pitch division.  In 1998 Ron became the league vice president nominated by the league president and continued on board staff for years to follow until his  kids aged out.

Additionally, Ron served as SCLL’s president for a short time during one of the years while the president stepped down to coach an All Star team and was also on District 4’s staff as the junior baseball ADA for one year during this period. Later coached in Babe Ruth, Skyview HS fall ball program, co-operated a club baseball academy and assistant coached at Clark College for 3 years. During this time I also trained with the local umpire association (EBUA) and umpired high school baseball and summer American Legion ball. I stepped away to pursue life and family and then returned to coach at Hazel Dell LL for 2 years before becoming their UIC and then President going on for the last 7 years.
